  How long does it take to get started?

  • We can begin medical billing services as soon as we create a database for you  in our system.  We will need the demographics of your practice as well as provider ID numbers and a fee schedule.  Once established, we can usually start submitting claims within a few days.

  How will I get my information to you?

  • There are a variety of ways to get your information to our office:
    • We provide a pickup service for local practices
    • Courier Service
    • USPS priority mail
    • Fax

  We are not located in the same state, can you still do our billing?

  • Yes.  With the technology that is available today we are able to offer our full practice management services from anywhere in the United States.

  Where to the payments go when claims are reimbursed?

  • All payments go directly to you.  You retain control of your money at all times.  We just need copies of the insurance EOB's (Explanation of Benefits) and patient payments to keep the accounts receivable current.

  What are A&L's fees?

  • Our fees are based on a percentage of the total monies collected per month.  These fees are not based on claims submitted, but on reimbursements received.  This approach ties our success directly to yours and creates an immediate incentive for A&L to work diligently to get the maximum reimbursement for your practice.

  Does A&L assist patients with billing inquiries?

  • A&L's customer service is available to answer any questions or concerns that your patients may have regarding their bill.  We offer a toll free number which is listed on their monthly statement.
